HHS PARENT LINKS
Parent Link meetings will be at noon in the HHS Library.
All HHS parents are welcome to come and learn more about Helena High School. Suggestions for topics for future meetings are welcome. Steve Thennis, assistant principal, will be meeting with our group this year. sthennis@helena.k12.mt.us
Community Volunteers are welcome at Helena High. If you would like to become involved, please fill out a form with some information about yourself and where you would like to help. These forms are on the counter in the office or can be sent to you by request by contacting Alida Rhynard, 449-8412, sockeymom@bresnan.net
Areas volunteers are being sought include:
Classroom presentations (list your area of expertise)
Chaperone student events (dance or field trip)
Judge speech and debate
Job Shadowing (have a student observe you in your job)
Bulletin Boards
Library- repair books, assist students, or clip articles
Work at a sporting event (please indicate which sports)
Theater - costuming, set design/building, concessions
Music - lead a choir sectional or accompany student soloists
Provide professional expertise (list your area)
Assist in the office or career center
Provide study skills/homework support to students
Help organize any of these
Help an advisor with one of HHS's clubs (please list the club)
Anything else you can think of that you want to help with.

activities and all scheduled events at HHS.
Facility
Use Calendar for HHS - This calendar is maintain by Steve
Keller. If you want to schedule an event at HHS, contact Steve at
324-2356 or email him at skeller@helena.k12.mt.us.
Acceptable Use Policy for Students - Includes a copy of the AUP that students and parents have signed for computer and Internet use at Helena High School. Even though the policy is signed once, students must watch for updates each year which can be found on our web page and in the Student Handbook.
Bengal Booster Club - The HHS Booster Club is a group of parents of students attending HHS, parents of graduated students of HHS, and friends of HHS. This site was created and is maintained by Lenette McGuffey, lenettem@msn.com
Scholarships- These are updated weekly by Sara Berg in the Counseling Center.
Activities - Includes links to Vigilante Parade information and results, Clubs and Sports, Respect Committee, Science Circus, and X-cel.
