2001 Vigilante Parade Results

News Release: Vigilante Parade--2001

Helenans turned out for the 78th Vigilante Parade in record numbers on
Friday, May 11th, 2002.  The annual event sported 215 parade
entries offering a glimpse  into yesteryear. The floats featured
vignettes of Montana history brought to life, peopled with pioneers,
miners, homesteaders, and native Americans.  Parade entrants showcased
recent events in Montana history as well as those from earlier days.

The senior class won the Roberts Cup award with the highest number of students participating in the annual
Vigilante Parade.
 

The Wahl Cup, awarded to the class with the greatest percentage of
winners was given to the senior class.
